Seoul, Korea

I went to Korea in April, 2006 to participate in the program for banking studies which is supported by the central bank of Korea. The picture below is the old building of the central bank of Korea. Now it becomes the museum.
This is an old church in the middle of the city. It is a little far away from my hotel. So I could not walk to go there.
Seoul Sungnyenmun This is the main gate in the fortress wall of Seoul. It is also called Namdoemun (Great south gate), as it is the southern gate of the capital city. It was first constructed in 1398, and was rebuilt in 1448. The gate house, which measures 5 kan (a kan is the interval between pillars) in width and 2 kan in depth, is a wooden structure built in typical style. It is the largest city gate in Korea. There are some conflicting theories about the author of the characters on the plaque hanging from the gate, but it is recorded in on old text called “Jibongyuseol” (1634) that they were written by Prince Yongnyeong.

MY Last trip in KL in 2009

I went to KL many times, but i have no chance to go up. There is a double deck bridge connecting the two towers at level 41 and 42, but only 41 open for public viewing. So, this time i had a great opportunity to go up to the level 42. It was my first time to walk across the a deck bridge. Up there you will be given not more than 15 minutes to walk freely on the 58.4 metres bridge looking out the view of KL. I took this picture from the ceiling glass. It look like eclipse at the twin tower. This is the map round the tower. The children's park (swimming pools). All these guys were in the first deck bridge.
